If your water pressure is from the mains, typically it will be higher hence eliminates the need for the centralised domestic water pump.

Here are few tips to consider before buying water pump:

4. Determine the piping condition
OLD HOUSE
Years of Occupancy: Above 10 years
Piping condition: Average to old
Recommendation: 0.5 Hp - 0.75 Hp (Max)
* This is to protect the condition of the pipe
NEW HOUSE
Years of Occupancy: Less than 10 years
Piping condition: New
Recommendation: 0.5 Hp - 0.75 Hp (Max)
* Normal suggestion according to table above
5. Installation of the water pump
PIPING CONNECTION
Connect to main pipe after the water tank
Place the pump at a covered area under the roof away from rain or water access
Install the pump above the rubber mounting and secure it on solid surface
Use the coupling provided in both inlet and outlet of the water pump
BYPASS CONNECTION
Make sure a Bypass is installed at both inlet and outlet of the water pump
This is to ensure the convenience of having to remove the pump for any maintenance service required
Coupling is provided for easy dismantling
